Los 'weblogs' o cuadernos personales en internet son altamente adictivos y se han convertido en un mecanismo de control del poder político, según expertos que intervendrán en la clausura del XIV Programa de Continuidad del Instituto Internacional Bravo Murillo.El encuentro se desarrollará bajo el epígrafe la 'Revolución de la comunicación digital', para lo que cuenta con la intervención del periodista, profesor y experto en 'weblogs' José Luis Orihuela y el profesor de Sistemas de Información Laureano Berasategui, quienes impartirán sendas conferencias mañana en el Hotel Escuela de Santa Brígida a partir de las nueve de la mañana.Los 'blogs', explica la organización, nacieron hace una década de mano de navegantes estadounidenses como una forma rápida, desenfadada y segura de intercambiar los enlaces de internet que les resultaban interesantes.En la actualidad hay más de 60 millones y cada día se crean otros 175.000, lo que constituye un 'verdadero arsenal de información que abarca todos los géneros y aplicaciones', al tiempo que proyecta su alcance en ámbitos como la educación, política, empresa y periodismo, agrega.La facilidad de su manejo, que son divertidos, personales y, sobre todo, adictivos, son la clave del éxito de los 'blogs', según Orihuela.Berasategui, por su parte, disertará sobre cómo influyen las nuevas tecnologías en la recepción y gestión de la información en las empresas canarias, pues los especialistas aseguran, prosigue la organización, que buena parte de la competitividad empresarial dependerá de que asuman el conocimiento como uno de sus activos.
